Description
11-13 Stone Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates back to the 16th century and was refronted in the 18th century. The building has a timber frame and is faced with stuccoed block. It features a dentilled eaves cornice and a plain tilted roof that is half-hipped on the right side. The structure has three storeys and a regular three-window front, with glazing bar sashes on the first and second floors. The sashes on the second floor have upper blades that are only half as deep as the lower ones. Below, there is a wide shop front from around 1930, which includes a large fascia board and an inset doorway. To the left of the shop front is a panelled door with a transom light. This property was part of the Rectorial property until 1791.
