House, now shop with flat above. C17, with early C19 alterations. Timber-framed, masonry lined stucco front, Welsh slated roof. 3 storeys. C19 shopfront with slim panelled Doric pilasters, frieze, cornice under tall fascia with moulded cornice, beneath former jettied front. Single flush sash window with glazing bars and moulded architrave surround to first and second floors. Rear outshoot 2 storeys, timber-framed, colourwashed brick ground floor, plastered first floor, old tiled roof. Ground floor door in recess, one flush sash window, upper floor 2 flush casement windows, all with glazing bars. (Ware 25" to 1 Mile. Surveyed by the Ordnance Survey Department: 1851-).
