Description
Old Toms is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some alterations. The ground floor is made of sandstone rubble, while the upper part features a timber frame with rendered nogging. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and includes a rendered chimney.
The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. There are thin wooden lintels above a renewed central door and a late 19th-century sash window on the left. To the right, there is a plain shop window with a cornice above it. On the first floor, there are two similar sash windows and a close-studded centre panel, with some timbers having been renewed. The steeply-pitched roof is topped with a tall transverse chimney.
