Description
Susan Dean Gifts is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the 17th century, with a front block that is dated 1736 above the side door. The building is plastered on the street side and features pilaster quoins and a wide eaves cornice. It has a pyramidally hipped slate roof with a flat-headed central dormer and a red brick stack at the rear. The building has three storeys and a regular two-window front, with the windows positioned towards the centre and featuring glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has a double early 20th-century shop front, which includes a blind-box above and an inset central half-glazed door. There is a doorway on the right side with the date 1736 inscribed above it. At the rear, there is a small timber-framed wing.
