Description

This 19th-century oasthous and granary is situated 80 yards to the south of Dove’s Farmhouse. The building is constructed of red brick, with the granary section to the left weatherboarded above a brick plinth. A 20th-century roundel is located at the north end, and an earlier 19th-century roundel is situated at the south end. Both roundels feature tiled roofs, cowls, and weather vanes. A hoist is housed within an open hipped dormer with curved brackets on the north face of the north roundel. A curved gallery is located on the first floor to the east of the granary, with doors positioned to the left and right of centre. Double doors are present on the right side of the ground floor, along with a single window on the first floor and two windows to the west of the first floor.
