Description

A row of cottages, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 18th century. The cottages are timber-framed with red brick on the ground floor and tile hanging on the first floor. They have a plain tiled roof. The main range is a single storey with an attic, and a two-storey projecting cross-wing to the right. The cross-wing, which runs parallel to the main road, is likely the older part of the building. It has a half-hip roof and wooden casement windows on each floor. There is a boarded door in its original position. The main range has a gabled roof with stacks at each end of the loft and in the centre to the right, along with two gabled dormers. It features wooden casement windows and boarded doors on the ground floor.
