Description
The Pest House is a former pest house that has been converted into a house, dating back to the 16th century. It features a timber frame that is clad in red brick on the ground floor and tile hung on the first floor. The roof is plain tiled and has a ridge stack at the right end, which sits on a very large projecting breast with set-offs. The building has two storeys with an irregular arrangement of windows, including two on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all of which are wooden casements. There is a half-glazed door located in a glazed flat-roofed weather porch at the left end. Inside, a substantial timber frame is still visible.
