Description

No. 8 Calverley Park is a Grade II* listed building dating from 1746, located in Tunbridge Wells. This early 19th-century structure is built in two sections using large blocks of Tunbridge Wells stone. It features a slate roof with an eaves cornice and a projecting west wing that includes a second-storey dormer window. A large verandah has been added to the ground floor, supported by Tuscan columns. The building has four windows, some of which are fitted with Venetian shutters. Notably, the window on the projecting section consists of a triple round-headed design with a balcony and a hood above. Nos. 1 to 24 Calverley Park, along with Keston Lodge and Victoria Lodge, form a cohesive group of buildings.
