Description

No 3 Calverley Park is an early Victorian villa built in 1746. This house, along with No 4, is constructed from local stone that has been cut to resemble bricks rather than using large blocks. The building features a stone base and long and short quoins, and it has an L-shaped design with two storeys and attics. The roof is tiled, with gable ends on each wing and at the south end of the east front. Each gable is adorned with scalloped bargeboards and has a chimney breast in the center; the north and west chimneys have a loop window, while the east chimney features a cross ornament. The villa includes one gabled dormer and three casement windows, as well as a gabled porch with scalloped bargeboards. Nos 1 to 24 in Calverley Park form a group with Keston Lodge and Victoria Lodge.
