Description

No. 69 High Street is a former pair of houses, dating from the late 18th century and later, and is a three-storey building featuring a painted stone front. It has a steep tiled roof with a high stone-capped verge and stone kneelers. The façade includes three windows on both the first and second floors, which are sash windows set in reveals with cambered heads. The central entrance has replaced the original pair of doorways and is flanked by panelled pilasters with consoles that support a plain hood. The entrance features a six-panel door with a rectangular light above it. The left-hand ground floor window is flanked by pilasters and has vermiculated plaster in the fascia. Nos. 59 to 77 (odd) High Street form a group with this building.
