Description

Iden Green Cottages is a pair of houses dating from the 18th century. They are timber-framed and tile hung on a red brick ground floor, with weatherboarded return elevations. The cottages have a plain tiled roof and consist of two parallel ranges. They feature a four-bay lobby entry plan and stand two storeys high on a plinth, with a half-hipped roof and stacks positioned to the centre right and at the end left. The first floor has three wooden casements and a leaded metal casement to the left, while the ground floor has three wooden casements and a boarded door to the centre right, along with a boarded door to the left return. There is a gabled rear wing. The cottages are included for their group value.
