Description
Well House is a house dating from the mid-16th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is tile hung on a red and blue chequered brick base, with part of the ground floor rendered. The house has two framed bays and a continuous jettied design, suggesting it may be a fragment of a larger original building. It stands two storeys tall with a continuous jetty and a gabled roof, which has a large stack projecting from the left end. There are outshots on both the left and right sides, which are weather-boarded. The first floor has two three-light leaded metal casements, while the ground floor has one to the left and a four-light casement to the right. The entrance features an old ribbed plank and stud door located to the centre left, set within a worn moulded surround.
