Description

This 17th-century barn stands 30 yards to the south east of Dove’s Farmhouse. It is timber framed and clad in weatherboarding, featuring catslide outshuts to the sides and east, and a lean-to extension. The roof is half-hipped and covered in plain tiles. The west end has double doors, and there is a door leading to the hayloft above. A single door is located at the east end. Inside, the barn now contains a brick-built oil tank, but the original structure remains visible. It has five bays and a queen post side purlin roof.
