Description

This building is a barn located to the south of Hadlow Stair House, dating from the early 18th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded on a brick base, topped with a half-hipped roof now covered in corrugated iron sheeting. The barn has five bays and is aisled to the southwest, with a gabled cart entrance on this side. The roof includes angled queen struts and staggered purlins, along with jowled posts and some diagonal tension braces. There is a lean-to addition on the southwest side, which is not considered to be of special interest.
