Description

Cage Farm House, dating from the 18th century, comprises two parallel ranges. It is two storeys and an attic in height, with three windows. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the roof is tiled with half-hips at the end of each range. Dormers are present on the northwest side, featuring diamond-leaded lights in the centre window. Two 19th-century canted bays project from the southeast front on both floors, and a contemporary bay is located on the ground floor of the northeast side. Some original glazing bars remain, although several windows have been replaced with newer casements. A modern entrance and garage have been added to the northwest side.
