Description

The Manor House is an 18th-century building now serving as a house for Tonbridge School. The original part of the house has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows and three dormers. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and includes two cemented canted bays on both floors. The glazing bars are intact, and there is an eaves cornice beneath a tiled roof. A porte cochere conceals the doorway, which is flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with a semi-circular fanlight. The south front features a gable and two canted bays on both floors. There are large modern additions to the north and west of the original structure.
