Description

The George and Dragon is an 18th-century public house that has been altered in the early 20th century. It is two storeys and an attic, with three windows. The ground floor is brick, the first floor is rough cast and stucco, and the roof is covered with red tiles. There are two casement dormers in the roof. A band runs around the building. Modern casements are present at the first floor level. The central ground floor features paired doors with a hood above. Wide windows are located on either side, with a third door on the left side. A single-storey extension, weather-boarded and with a tile roof, is attached to the left. The building forms a group with numbers 19 to 24 (consec).
