Description

A pair of cottages dating from the late 16th century. They are characterised by exposed timber framing with plaster infilling, arranged in a square frame with horizontal panels above the ground and first floors, the upper panels featuring curved braces. The roof is half-hipped and covered in slate, with a central ridge stack. The cottages have an irregular window arrangement, with four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor. There are boarded doors at the entrance on the left side and to the right of centre. A lean-to extension is situated at the rear.
