Description

Patchways is a cottage dated 1637, but incorporating an earlier timber-framed structure. The south-facing facade was rebuilt in the 18th century using random rubble stone with galletting, and has red brick quoins and window dressings. The roof is tiled and half-hipped to the west, with a stack at the east end. The cottage has two storeys and a two-window front with casement windows. A central half-glazed door provides access. The building is L-shaped, with a rear wing and a tiled gabled porch to the west.
