Description

This is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with significant alterations in later periods. The ground floor is built of random rubble stone with red brick detailing. The first floor is tile-hung, with exposed timber framing and plaster infilling towards the south. The roof is tiled, hipped, and features one dormer window on the right. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front featuring modern lattice casement windows. The entrance is positioned to the left of the right-hand bay. Later additions were made to the south and east of the original building. The building demonstrates group value as a well-preserved example of a vernacular farmhouse.
