Description

The waggon shed and wall, located 20 yards southeast of Bartons Farmhouse, date back to the 16th century. The structure is made of coursed galletted rubble stone, featuring red brick dressings on the eastern side. It is supported by wooden piers on the western side and has a plain tiled roof. The eastern wall is part of the farmyard wall, constructed from coursed galletted rubble stone and curving in a quadrant to form a central entrance. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
