Description

The village water pump, located 10 yards east of Trinity Court, dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. It has an octagonal shape with blind lancet panels on each side, topped by an ogee dome that supports a crocket. The pump stands 7 feet high and features a spout on the west side with a later tap positioned below it. To the right, there is a curved pump handle. An inscription on the plate on the west side reads: "Rd WELLS / - 4 - / OLD ST ROAD / LONDON".
