Description

The Coffin House is a toll-house built in the late 18th century, designed in the 'Gothick' style. The building has an octagonal shape with five sides on the northeast and is rectangular at the back. It stands two stories tall and features a crenellated parapet. On the first floor, there is one Gothick arched window with a Gothick glazing bar sash on each side. The ground floor has square-headed sash windows. The central entrance is a tall round-headed doorway with a drip mould above, flanked by small Gothic windows on either side.
