Description
The Round House is a toll house, now used as a house, dating from the 18th century. It features a rendered exterior and a thatched roof with a brick stack at the rear. The building has a hexagonal plan and is designed in a picturesque Gothic style. It stands two storeys tall, with the front showcasing a brick porch topped with a thatched bonnet. The entrance includes a pointed arched door and a pointed arched casement window with leaded lights above it. There are similar windows on the left and right, each with external shutters. To the left of the door, there is an Edward VII letterbox. The rear of the house has a similar window on both the ground and first floors, along with a lean-to that has a door on the side.
