Description

This building, comprising numbers 68 and 70 High Street, is a restaurant dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with decorative diaperwork headers. The roof is covered with plain tiles and is hipped at one end. The elevation has two storeys and three windows, each featuring sash windows in moulded architraves with only vertical glazing bars. A 20th-century shopfront is present. The right-hand side of the building has two blank openings. A stringcourse runs along the facade, above a stone plinth and a buttress.
