Description

The Post Office is a cottage dating from the 17th century, which was refronted to the north in the late 18th century. The west front features red brick on the ground floor and tile-hung cladding on the first floor. It has a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped at the rear, with a catslide to the south. The building is two storeys high and has two windows; the first floor has casement windows, while the ground floor features glazing bar sashes with sliding shutters. There is a central porch added in the 19th century. The north front shows a two-storey refronting with a parapet, two sash windows on the first floor, and a wide shop front below.
