Description

Middlefield Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed building that was refronted in the early 19th century. The northern half of the cottage is fronted with red brick, while the southern half features red brick on the ground floor and weatherboarding above, all set on a cemented plinth. The roof is tiled and has central and end stacks. The cottage has two storeys and attics, with four windows, including two dormers and 19th century casements. There is also a later brick and weatherboarded weather porch.
