Description

Court Lodge is a house dating from the early 18th century, with a rear structure of older origin. The house has painted brickwork with boxed eaves and a hipped tiled roof, topped with two dormers. It has two storeys and five windows, featuring glazing bar sashes in moulded window surrounds. The central front door is from the early 19th century, and is panelled, set within a pilastered frame. This frame is adorned with ornamental brackets that support a boxed entablature. Group value is demonstrated by the building’s contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
