Description
Old Keepers Cottage is a 17th-century building that was refronted in the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with an old tile roof and red bricks, some of which have burnt headers. The cottage consists of two sections.
On the left side, there are two storeys. The ground floor has a modern brick porch and two 2-light casement windows. Above these windows, built into the wall, is a brick pediment that is also visible inside the house against the former back wall. The first floor has two casements with wooden lintels.
On the right side, there are also two storeys. The ground floor includes a 2-light casement and a door set within a shallow modern tiled porch, along with another 2-light casement. The first floor features a central blank window framed by blue bricks in the shape of a Palladian window, flanked by two 2-light casements.
