Description
There are two table tombs located about 2 and 10 metres north of the Church of St. Mary. The first tomb, belonging to the Denne family, dates from the early 19th century and is situated approximately 2 metres north of the chancel. It is made of stone and features a double plinth with baluster corner pieces, adorned with acanthus leaves and cherub heads surrounded by flourishing trumpets. The second tomb, associated with the Smith family, is about 10 metres north of the nave of the church and also dates from the early 19th century. This stone tomb has a double plinth, baluster corner pieces, and side panels with concave-clipped corners decorated with quatrefoil designs.
