Description
Nos 6, 7, and 8 Church Square are a row of cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of stock brick in Flemish bond, featuring red brick lintels. The cottages have a slate roof and two yellow brick chimney stacks. They are two storeys high and have three windows, which are sash windows with verticals only, cambered heads, and horns. The doorcases are simple, with cambered heads, rectangular fanlights, and four-panelled doors. The interiors are plain, with half-winder staircases located in cupboards that lead off the living rooms. These cottages are included as part of a group that is interesting for social history.
