Three cottages. Mid C19. (No.81 to the right is later C19 and described separately). Flemish-bond brick with freestone dressings, continuous slate roof with brick stacks. 2-unit plans with integral rear outshuts. EXTERIOR: each cottage is 2-window range. The original 2 cottages to the left were designed as a pair with bold rusticated quoins, architraves, platband and plinth; 6/6-pane sash windows to the 1st floors and 8/8-pane sashes to the ground floors and stacks to the gable ends; 4-panel doors (that to the left glazed to the top), under hoods with moulded edges on moulded stone brackets. No.81 is English-bond brick with a vertical joint to the left, under the continuous slate roof and with a brick stack to the left abutting that of No.82. Similar in style, it is one-room wide to the ground floor; double-depth plan with a 2-storey rear outshut. The C20 door and flat hood to the right has a 6/6-pane sash window above it and 8/8-pane sashes to the left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
