Number 1 Church Road and numbers 1 and 2 Church Square are an early 19th-century building faced with flint and having a pantiled roof. The building is three storeys high with a basement. It features four cambered sash windows, and on the left side, a simple cambered doorcase. The building incorporates buff brick long and short quoins and window dressings. Number 1 Church Road also has a simple cambered doorcase. Numbers 1 to 5 (odd) form a group with numbers 1 to 8 (consecutive) Church Square.
