Description

This is a group of four headstones located about 20 metres northwest of the Church of St. Laurence. The westernmost headstone is adjacent to railed tombs and has an illegible inscription. It stands about 3 feet high and features a Rocaille shouldered egg and tongue segmental cornice, adorned with a cherub's head in a sunburst. This headstone commemorates Elizabeth Woodcock, who died in 1723, and William, who died in 1755, both facing west.

The next headstone is also about 3 feet high, with cornice blocks to scrolled shoulders and a segmental cornice, featuring a cherub's head among clouds and foliage. This one marks the grave of Thomas Stace, who died in 1766.

The third headstone is approximately 2½ feet high, showcasing a Rocaille scalloped head with a winged cherub's head and trumpet, dedicated to Witten Stewart, dating from the mid-18th century.

The final headstone is about 2½ feet high as well, with a Rocaille shouldered head and cornice, featuring a winged cherub's head in a sunburst design.
