Description
Nos. 11, 13, 15, and 17 are a terrace row built between 1826 and 1836, constructed of stock brick with rendered details. Number 11 features a pebbledashed finish. The building has a slate roof and consists of three storeys, a basement, and an attic. The rusticated base is accented by string courses at the first and second floors, with Ionic pilasters supporting the cornice parapet. There are seven dormers and chimney stacks arranged from left to right. The second floor has two glazing bar sashes and six sashes, all with painted heads. On the first floor, there are eight margin light French doors with rectangular fanlights, and tented verandahs supported by trellis piers and simple rails. The ground floor features tripartite bows with sashes and pilasters. To the left of the bows are boarded doors with traceried semi-circular fanlights. The basement areas are enclosed with fleur-de-lys rails, except for No. 15, which has a brick wall of no interest. This terrace was built to the same design and during the same period as Nos. 4-44 and 5, 7, and 9 Royal Road, as part of the same development.
