Description

This is a headstone from the 18th century, located 15 metres south-west of the west door of the Church of St. Mary. Made of stone, it commemorates Mary Tanner, who died in 1717. The headstone stands two feet high and features a double curved head, intricately carved with two death's heads separated by crossed bones.
