Description

This is an early to mid 18th century headstone located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 7 meters south of the Thomas Tanner monument. Made from Minchinhampton stone, the headstone features a thick design with a modeled top resembling an open book and side drops. Unusually, the top of the stone is also modeled to represent the book. The inscription is not legible.
