Description

Woodsend Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, which was refaced in the 18th century. It has a timber frame and is clad with painted brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and is set on a plinth, featuring a roof that is hipped to the right. There is one gabled dormer and projecting stacks at both the left and right ends of the house. On each floor, there are two wooden casements and a central boarded door, all with gauged heads. Inside, the farmhouse features 17th-century mouldings on the beams. There is a late 20th-century range added to the rear, which is not of special interest.
