Description

South Street House is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame and is clad with painted brick, topped by a plain tiled roof. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high, with corbelled brick eaves supporting a hipped roof. There are stacks located at the left end and centre right of the house. On the first floor, there are four wooden casements, with the one in the centre right having only one light. The ground floor has three wooden casements with three lights each, all featuring gauged basket-arch heads. Additionally, there is a boarded door to the centre right, which has a gauged round-headed surround.
