Description

Number 2 Hugh Place is a building from the 16th century, although it has been rendered over time. Originally, the first floor may have overhung the ground floor, but it is now underbuilt. The structure has two storeys and features two windows. The doorway is topped with a flat hood that is supported by brackets. There is one metal casement window and one window with diamond lead glazing, along with two modern casement windows. Numbers 1 to 7 Hugh Place form a group with the east front of number 15 and the west front of number 14 Market Place.
