Description

This is a steam mill located 15 yards east of Berkeley House, dating from the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and timber framing, covered with weatherboard and topped with slate roofs. It stands three storeys tall, featuring a gabled roof with pierced bargeboard and a winch hood. The second floor has three metal casement windows, while the first floor has two, and the ground floor also has two, along with half-doors centrally located on both the ground and first floors. To the left, there is a single-storey painted brick outhouse that has a pierced bargeboard and a slate roof, with a single lead-paned wood casement window featuring a gauged head. The mill is included for its group value.
