27, The Mall

Number 27 on The Mall is a house built in the mid-19th century. It has a rendered exterior and stands two storeys tall, featuring quoins at the cornice and a parapet, with stacks located at the rear. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows set in moulded surrounds. The ground floor has a canted bay window to the left, which has a tented roof and plate glass sashes. To the right, there is a panelled door situated in a fine moulded doorcase that includes a cornice hood supported by moulded brackets. This building is included for its group value.
