Description

Number 33 on East Street is a mid-19th century building with a rendered exterior and a pitched slate roof. It features a rendered stack that has cornicing and decoration of anthemia. The building stands two storeys tall and has two ranges of sash windows, each with hoodmoulds. The entrance door has four moulded panels and an oblong fanlight, which is flanked by pilasters adorned with ornamental vine-leaf moulding and figure corbels supporting lavishly moulded brackets that hold a flat hood. This property is part of a group that includes numbers 13 to 33 (odd), as well as 37 and 39, with numbers 23 and 25 being of local interest only.
