Description

Nos 37 and 39 on East Street are 17th-century buildings that have been altered over time. They are constructed of Purbeck rubble, with some areas pebble-dashed, and feature a hipped concrete tile roof at the east end. The buildings are one storey high with attics and have eight casement windows with glazing bars. There are two planked doors and six modern attic dormers. These properties, along with Nos 13 to 33 (odd), form a group, although Nos 23 and 25 are of local interest only.
