This is a late 18th-century wall that encloses the garden behind No 49, known as Mall House, located on the north side of Preston Street. The wall is constructed of high red brick and stands on a rendered plinth. It is part of a group that includes Nos 49 (Mall House) and 50 (Wreights House Stables to Wreights House).
