No. 7 West Street is a 16th-century timber-framed house that was refronted in the 18th century. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring one window and a large gabled dormer that is plastered but retains some timber elements. The front is finished in stucco and includes a parapet. The glazing bars are missing, and there is a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 and 2 and Nos. 4 to 12, as well as Nos. 14 to 16, all of which are located around The Market Place.
