Description

The Orchard is a house dating from the 18th century, with 19th-century additions at the rear. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and features a wooden modillion eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof, which has stacks on both the left and right sides. The roof slopes down to an extension on the left. On the first floor, there are two wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has a central door with six panels and a rectangular fanlight above, set within a panelled surround that includes a flat hood supported by consoles.
