Description

This is an early 18th century house pair, extended in the 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof. It has a plinth and corbelled brick eaves, with a hipped roof and stacks located towards the centre-right and end-left. The bay on the end-left is a later addition, featuring a single glazing bar sash window on each floor. The original house section has a regular pattern of windows; a single glazing bar sash and a single sash on the first floor, with a central panel, and two glazing bar sashes on the ground floor. All ground floor windows have rubbed and gauged keyed heads, carrying a cornice. The central door consists of six raised and fielded panels, with the top two panels glazed, and is topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. A recessed wing, dating to the 19th or 20th century, extends to the right.
