Description

The mortuary chapel or bier house, now disused, dates from the 18th century and is constructed of red brick. It is set into the embankment of a raised roadway. The front elevation measures approximately 6 feet wide and 6 feet high, featuring a central boarded door that is set within a semi-circular arched and keyed surround on imposts. Inside, there is wooden shelving for coffins.
