Description
Brands Hatch Place, formerly known as Brandshatch House, dates from around 1840 and is shown on the Tithe Map of 1842. This three-storey building is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. It has a projecting wing with a three-light canted bay that extends through two floors. There are three additional sash windows, all adorned with stone architraves and dressings, and the windows include glazing bars. The building is topped with a modillion eaves cornice. A wooden verandah is present on the ground floor of the set-back portion. On the right side, there is an ornamental mid-19th century glass and iron conservatory.
